A multicultural church
Welcome to Alum Rock UMC

A Multicultural, Justice Seeking, Reconciling Congregation

At Alum Rock UMC all are living in unity with the Messiah (Jesus Christ). The people of Alum Rock UMC are real and outrageously committed to Koinonia (Christian fellowship with God and one another). We understand our mission to be "Making Disciples of Jesus Christ for the Transformation of the World."

All Saints Day

On All Saints' Day, Alum Rock United Methodist Church remembers the names of their members who died in the past year. Bring photos of those who you want remembered to worship on November 2 to place on a special place of remembrance.

Supporting People Who Are Living With Life Struggles

Thursday, November 6, 1:00–2:30pm, Fireside Room

Many of us, at sometime in our lives, have struggled with the death of a family member or close friend, have been the caretaker for someone suffering a long-term illness or accident, experienced a house fire or a robbery, suffered the loss of a job, or are dealing with a divorce. What do we say to someone who is suffering? Could we do more if we only knew how?
At Alum Rock Church we have invited Pastor Andrew Bear to moderate special sessions to help bring perspective to some of these situations in our lives. We want to reach out to the community with an invitation to attend. These seminars will recur each Thursday for the month of November and are open to the community and free of charge. Come and learn how to be supportive in these situations.
